Whole blood critical care analyser

Stat Profile Prime Plus, from Nova Biomedical, is a comprehensive, whole blood critical care analyser that offers blood gases, electrolytes, metabolites, CO-Oximetry, and 34 calculated results, in a simple, compact device. Prime Plus combines maintenance-free, component cartridge technology for sensors and reagents, with patented non-lysing whole blood CO-Oximetry technology.

Prime Plus results are produced rapidly, a complete test menu panel in under two minutes, and are combined with bidirectional connectivity, a robust data management system, and comprehensive cybersecurity protection.

Most comprehensive critical care menu, configurable for all departments

Prime Plus provides the most clinical value of any blood gas/critical care analyser profile by adding essential tests for kidney function (Urea, Creatinine, eGFR), plasma volume (ePV), electrolyte balance (iMg), and anaemia (Mean Corpuscular Haemoglobin Concentration (MCHC)).

Prime Plus helps clinicians to assess patient intravascular volume, acid base balance, blood oxygenation, oxygen carrying capacity of blood, tissue hypoxia, electrolyte balance, kidney function, and glucose control. The complete test menu includes pH, PCO2, PO2, Na, K, Cl, iCa, iMg, Glucose, Lactate, BUN/Urea, Creatinine, Hct, Hb, ePV, MCHC, SO2%, and CO-Oximetry.

Clot protection

Prime Plus’s exceptional Clot Block sample flow path protects sensor cards from blood clot blockages.

Automated, true liquid QC

QC cartridges contain a 30-day supply of liquid QC material. Controls run automatically at user-selected intervals.
