Filters for use in anaesthesia launched at event
The new ECO range of filters will be launched at AfPP, this year, by AIR SAFETY. Featuring a series of filters, HMEs, and HMEFs for use in adult, neonatal and paediatric anaesthesia, with options of straight and angled connectors, the range also comes in colour-coded packaging to improve safe selection.

Help reduce the use of banked blood during H1N1 Pandemic
The Health Protection Agency estimates that the number of new swine flu cases is currently set to continue increasing, which reduces the number of people eligible to donate blood. At this year’s AfPP Conference and Exhibition, Summit Medical helped to raise awareness of the importance of alternatives to banked blood as the H1N1 pandemic impacts donor supplies.
