Enhanced hip implant

Adept is a total hip and hip resurfacing system which builds on the innovative Birmingham Hip Replacement developed by the company with such leading surgeons as Derek McMinn and Ronan Treacy. The Adept system includes resurfacing components and offers a wider range of variants with two cup sizes for every head and two head sizes for every cup.

In addition to these size options, Adept features optimised surface fixation on the cup, enhanced range of motion and advanced instrumentation. The cup has an HA coated as-cast, beaded structure to encourage bone ingrowth.

Performance is further enhanced by the Adept cementless stem which ensures a precision fit to the modular head. The stem features a dual tapered profile for a secure press fit fixation in the host bone. Surface roughness assists long term implant stability.
