Flexible intubating scope

AMBU will be demonstrating its single patient use, flexible intubating scope, the aScope, which is delivered sterile and is designed to eliminate the risk of cross contamination.

The tip can bend 120° both ways, offering good manoeuvrability during intubation, while the intuitive design, with its lightweight ergonomic handle, also gives enhanced comfort for healthcare professionals. The robust camera technology captures a clear bright image, which is displayed on the high-resolution aScope Monitor, and provides a wide field of view with an accurate and colour consistent image. The brightness and contrast on the aScope monitor can be easily adjusted to create images of high quality. The monitor runs on rechargeable batteries and is fully portable, while a low battery alert feature displays a warning on the screen when the battery is running low. For convenience, the monitor can be placed either on a table or attached to an IV pole.
