NATIONAL CONCERN FOR HEALTHCARE INFECTIONS (NCHI) is a registered charity whose work in patient care and safety is undertaken regionally, nationally and internationally.
Endorsed and supported by an impressive list of healthcare professionals, the charity’s patron is the Rt. Hon Baroness Masham of Ilton – a peer in the House of Lords who will be one of the guest speakers at the conference speaking on the subject of patient involvement in patient safety. Two of NCHI Board members are part of “Patients for Patient Safety Champions” an action area of WHO Patient Safety (a World Alliance for Safer Health Care). NCHI has forged strong alliances with other charitable organisations and is committed to jointly raising awareness of the wider issues surrounding healthcare infections and patient safety.
