New full body antimicrobial Hibiwash cares for skin while killing bacteria

Hibiwash® with 4% Ghlorhexidine Gluconate is an MHRA approved antiseptic full body wash of Mölnlycke Health Care UK and it can reduce the risk of healthcare acquired infections and surgical site infections when used by the patient pre- and post- surgery.

Despite the efforts of healthcare professionals, there is still a high risk of infection rates, with 1 in 11 people acquiring infection while in hospital.1 Surgical related infections not only extend a patient’s median length of stay in hospital to 11 days but also cause physical or psychological disability to patients, and sometimes can be life-threatening.1,2

Hibiwash offers patients vital protection from infections during their stay in hospital, allowing for timely and uncomplicated discharges following surgery. Hibiwash has the same efficacy of Hibisrcub®, but also contains emollients and has no colour, or fragrance and no traces of soya oil. It is a sustainable product, gentle on the skin and supports skin’s integrity while killing microorganisms.

Mölnlycke® is committed to empowering healthcare providers, patients and organisations in the UK and globally to effectively reduce the potential of infections acquired while in hospital.

Together let’s move towards zero.
