Central Medical Supplies Appoints New Neonatal Account Manager

Central Medical Supplies (CMS) has appointed Sarah Guska as a new Neonatal Account Manager, covering London, the South East and Northamptonshire.

CMS is a specialist supplier of developmental care products and is renowned for its neonatal and critical care equipment.

Sarah Guska joins CMS from the NHS, where she was a midwife with experience in labour, antenatal and postnatal care. In her new role, Sarah will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and assisting healthcare teams, from an initial enquiry through to product purchase and after-sales support.

Commenting on her new role, Sarah Guska said: “As a midwife, I am passionate about physiological birth and ensuring women and babies are safe in my care.  During my time in the NHS, I also worked with high-risk women and babies who needed higher levels of intervention.

"During this time, I saw the positive impact good quality medical equipment can have, especially on the babies where it can lead to better outcomes. Babies need as much time as possible with their mums after birth and if a medical intervention is needed then products which enable this are beneficial.”

Sarah continued: “I was attracted to my new role at Central Medical Supplies as I am able to meet different healthcare professionals and see the positive change our products are making to patients in their care. It is rewarding to still be working alongside the NHS but to now see things from a different perspective.”

Products within the CMS neonatal portfolio include the BiliCocoon phototherapy system, which enables a mum to hold or feed her baby without disrupting important treatment time, Ant Neuro’s nëo cerebral function monitor, Kanmed BabyBeds and various neonatal warming devices.
