A range of single-use nitrile examination gloves is offering high levels of safety, quality and comfort.
To avoid the spread of healthcare-associated infections gloves are an essential tool for HCPs. Over the last 60 years, there have been few innovations in the development of examination gloves. Therefore, there is a substantial gap in the market, considering the challenges faced in healthcare, regarding increased risk of infection transmission, environmental impacts, and increased costs.
R.Advance was designed to address these challenges. It provides healthcare professionals and patients with a safe and clean range of non-sterile single-use nitrile examination gloves with the following pivotal characteristics:
Higher safety; AQL 0.25: Acceptance Quality Level of 0.25, reducing holes and punctures by approximately 86% when compared to standard AQL 1.5 gloves.
Produced in Europe: Manufactured in Portugal on a fully automated production line, maintained in a controlled environment, where 100% of the gloves are inspected, and involve no human intervention, ensuring a significantly reduced bioburden (-80% vs conventional gloves).
Greater resistance: R.Advance formula includes higher concentration of nitrile, providing greater resistance during procedures (10~12 newtons, as opposed to the standard 6 newtons) while offering a second-skin feeling with exceptional comfort and preserved sensitivity.
Innovative and patented flowpack: Decontaminated internally and externally during the manufacturing process, airtight and watertight to maintain low bioburden until they reach HCPs. Flowpack can be decontaminated at any time without damaging the gloves.
Extraction one by one and by the cuff: R.Advance packaging allows for the extraction of one glove at a time by the cuff, adhering to WHO guidelines.
Sustainable by design: Due to the introduction of a circular economy, the inspection of 100% of the gloves, and the delivery of nearly defect-free gloves to hospitals, R.Advance reduces waste, contributing to a more sustainable and safer practice.
R.Advance was specifically developed to address high-risk procedures or specialties, such as Paramedics, Emergency rooms, Intensive care, Orthopedics, Infectious Diseases, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Anesthesiology, where both HCPs and patients have higher risk of contracting HCAI.
