In September 2023 HCA Healthcare UK will open its newest outpatient centre, HCA UK Outpatients Battersea & Nine Elms, a £2million investment that will bring additional capacity to its network of care.
HCA UK Battersea & Nine Elms will provide access to a full range of outpatient care. Appointments will be available for specialist consultant-led clinics including sports injuries, women’s health and gastrointestinal conditions.
The opening reflects the increased demand being seen nationally for access to care in the independent sector, with increasing numbers of people using their private medical insurance or choosing to self-pay for their care.
HCA UK Battersea & Nine Elms will provide access to high quality outpatient care to the immediate residential and working commuter populations, which have been significantly boosted by the developments at Battersea Power Station and Embassy Gardens.
Operated by CQC rated Outstanding Lister Hospital team, part of HCA Healthcare UK, patients at HCA UK Battersea & Nine Elms will benefit from the wider capabilities of the HCA UK network of care. This will include seamless and swift access to any onward care that is needed, including access to specialties such as orthopaedics, cardiac and acute admissions at The Lister Hospital located just a short distance away.

The investment in HCA UK Battersea & Nine Elms follows HCA UK’s announcement that it will open an £18milion outpatients and diagnostics centre in Canary Wharf in early 2024.
