Highlighting regenerative medicine potential

With exciting plans for expanding their new clinic in the UAE, The Regenerative Clinic will be attending Arab Health 2020, on the Harley Street stand.

The Clinic reports an 83% success rate in its initial one-year knee  results for Lipogems – a treatment which uses mesenchymal stem  cells, derived from a patient’s own fat, to relieve the symptoms of arthritis.  The Clinic will be highlighting the technique at the show.

Although more research and more data are required, initial results show potential for a regenerative treatment, which is claimed by The Regenerative Clinic to be “as effective in knees as a knee replacement”. The approach is non-invasive, with a one to  two-day recovery time. Post-treatment infection is rare, while the procedure has the potential to be carried out at a significantly lower cost than traditional joint replacement.

The ability to rejuvenate tissue is much debated – the goal is to turn back the clock and repair damage; to effectively help a joint or cartilage to revive and even re-grow. Professor Adrian Wilson and his team at The Regenerative Clinic are currently working on a pioneering approach and believe that the technique shows significant potential. Already a leading global expert in orthopaedic surgery, Prof. Wilson was inspired by the work of Dr. Carlo Tremolada in Italy. Working closely with him, he began to understand the benefits of a new technology called Lipogems for healing, pain relief and the rejuvenation of joints to restore mobility.
