Stanley Healthcare’s SpaceTRAX is a realtime point-of-use inventory management solution that provides visibility into the expiry of products, accurate management of re-ordering, and effective insight into the utilisation of products by clinicians and patients. Available in the UK through Aeroscout, the solution keeps track of the lot, batch, serial numbers and expiration for every item in a Unique Device Identification (UDI) compatible format. Users simply scan the barcode and SpaceTRAX captures all the relevant information.

Proven to reduce costs, optimise inventory, and improve patient care, the user-friendly clinical inventory solution is designed for procedural areas (IR, OR, Cath Lab, EP, GI/Endo) and helps manage all inventory items with barcode technology. The solution seamlessly links clinical supplies to physicians, patients, and procedures, increasing charge capture and improving outcomes – all in real time. With standard interfaces to the hospital’s EMR, it can send item charges directly to the billing system. Automating the supply chain process puts an end to manually keying items to be ordered. When scanned, automatic alerts flag when products are approaching expiration and if an expired or recalled before the medical procedure.
