What to expect at the 2019 EBME Expo

EBME chairman, Dr John Sandham, discusses what to expect at the 2019 EBME Expo. The EBME Expo is an independent educational event bringing together healthcare professionals that are responsible for the management of medical equipment.

The aim of the Expo is to impart best practice for healthcare technology management (HTM) especially with regard to raising awareness of how improved management of healthcare technology and connectivity can lead to better NHS productivity and lower healthcare costs. Ultimately, it is hoped that the knowledge shared will lead to advances in best practice, enhancing patient safety and helping hospitals to deliver against their budgets.

At this year’s 2019 Expo we have the privilege of welcoming speakers who will introduce new knowledge in areas such as; Operating theatre efficiencies, patient monitoring technology innovation, connected care, capital planning efficiencies, Diagnostic imaging maintenance, procurement and the transformation agenda, connecting infusion devices into the electronic patient record, and the role of connected devices in tomorrow’s hospital.

70+ Exhibitors

A large independent exhibition from medical equipment suppliers also takes place alongside the conference programme, showcasing the latest innovations in healthcare technology and services. A preview of the exhibition is included in this latest issue of CSJ. Sponsorship from the exhibitors enables the Expo to be offered free of charge to registered conference delegates.

The venue - MK Marshall Arena / Arena MK
