Single Use Surgical, a Cardiff-based surgical instrument specialist that offers ‘gold standard’ disposable systems, is exhibiting at Medica to raise awareness of its Pulse Lavage kit and Spackman Cannula.
The disposable surgical instrument specialist focuses on identifying difficult-to-clean surgical equipment and offers alternative single use systems.
The Pulse Lavage kit features a built-in battery pack, which can be disconnected for safe disposal. The device includes a controlled pulsed irrigation and suction feature and comes with two additional tips designed specifically for the hip and knee, suitable for applications such as orthopaedic revisions, total joint procedures, trauma and wound care.
Single use surgical systems for gynaecology and fertility include the Spackman Cannula. Featuring a self-locking clamp, it is designed to enable convenient single-handed use, while ensuring a seal on the cervix, due to the functionality of the moving acorn.
