A new era of Ultrasound

Siemens Healthineers new product portfolio delivers a new era of imaging excellence.

ACUSON Sequoia Ultrasound system – taking ultrasound to new heights

Siemens Healthineers new ACUSON Sequoia™, a general imaging ultrasound system, was developed in response to one of the most prevalent challenges in ultrasound imaging today: the imaging of different sized patients with consistency and clarity. With its new Deep Abdominal Transducer (DAX), a new high-powered architecture, and innovative updates to elastography and contrast-enhanced ultrasound, the new ACUSON Sequoia produces penetration up to 40cm. With its powerful architecture and innovative features, the new ACUSON Sequoia expands precision medicine by enabling high-resolution imaging that adapts to patients’ size and personal characteristics, contributing to more confident diagnosis.

The original ACUSON Sequoia is arguably the most popular ultrasound system we have ever created. In image quality, colour sensitivity and advanced imaging modes, ACUSON Sequoia was - and still is an industry benchmark. The new ACUSON Sequoia is a remarkable evolution of a product that was so right in so many ways.

ACUSON Juniper Ultrasound system – everything you need, nothing you don’t

Siemens Healthineers new ACUSON Juniper™ features a lightweight, ergonomic design with complete manoeuvrability for use across a wide variety of clinical segments. Though small in size, the ACUSON Juniper is powerful. The system’s versatility and adaptability makes it ideal for diverse patient anatomies and physiologies.

The ACUSON Juniper, the smallest, most lightweight system in its class, has flexible, intuitive and customisable tilt settings in order to address the needs of differing clinical departments. Further the ACUSON Juniper’s LED monitor and touch panel are the largest in its segment. The system’s two standard USB ports enable quick transfer of images to patients, eliminating the need for print-out documentation. Sleep and boot-up times of mere seconds allow clinical users now to transfer the system within a hospital without sacrificing time with patients. With an imaging performance that belies its small size, the ACUSON Juniper is powered by a completely new imaging platform that was designed from the ground up with user feedback and needs in mind.
