Nanotech vs antibiotic resistance

A new ‘nanotech’ could provide a unique solution to the global antimicrobial resistance crisis. The Clinical Services Journal speaks to AGA Nanotech, to find outmore.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is one of the biggest threats to global health. It can affect anyone, of any age, in any country. 

It has also led to infections such as pneumonia, tuberculosis, blood poisoning, gonorrhoea, and foodborne diseases, becoming difficult and sometimes impossible to treat as antibiotics become less effective. 

The Clinical Services Journal spoke to Adrian Fellows, head of R&D at AGA Nanotech to find out how the British nanotech company has opened up the potential of a unique alternative to antibiotics.
