Organised by the Infection Prevention Society (IPS), Infection Prevention 2017 will bring together infection prevention and control professionals from around the UK and further afield to share and debate best practice, research and discuss issues from across the infection prevention speciality. The event is taking place at Manchester Central from 18-20 September. Here, The Clinical Services Journal takes a look at what to expect.
This year marks a very special occasion for the Society as they celebrate 10 years of the Infection Prevention Society. In recognition of this momentous event, Infection Prevention 2017 will feature presentations from the current and five past presidents, as well as a host of other experienced and influential infection prevention leaders who will share insights, and intelligence as to where infection prevention will take us next.
The programme has been awarded 14 CPD credits from the Royal College of Pathologists and will be mapped to the IPS competences. In addition, attending Infection Prevention 2017 can count as participatory learning for NMC revalidation.
