Activa Healthcare, a leader in compression hosiery and wound care, will be known as L&R from July this year.
Activa has been a part of L&R since 2008. L&R has a history of 160 years’ experience in wound dressings and medical devices.
The most obvious change will be the L&R logo and red and green brand colours, while a more extensive portfolio of products will now be offered to customers as part of a global company.
Products from L&R such as Debrisoft, ReadyWrap and Flivasorb have already been launched successfully in the UK.
Simon Mangan, managing director at L&R in the UK, said: “While the company name is changing, our focus on customers, our core values and the spirit of our people will remain the same. After all L&R has owned Activa for the last eight years and all the things you like about us will feel the same. We’ll still be driven by the same principles and we’ll continue to operate as usual.”
