Enhancing patient care management

DRÄGER MEDICAL has introduced the Infinity CentralStation, which gathers and displays information from Infinity bedside monitors and Infinity telemetry monitors for up to 32 patients. Clinicians can easily access alarms, real-time waveforms and parameters, respiratory and ventilator information, and laboratory values.

The Infinity CentralStation enhances patient care management by supporting rapid assessment, decision support and clinical reporting from any location with access to the hospital intranet.

Each Infinity CentralStation includes two hours of Event and Full Disclosure, including electronic ECG calipers. Built-in-Event and Full Disclosure capabilities reduce the need to purchase separate costly hardware. To support the most complex monitoring, Infinity CentralStation provides continuous storage for up to 16 waveforms and 1,000 arrhythmia and alarm events for up to 72 hours.

All events are classified and grouped by event type, making it easier to review and assess a patient’s response to treatment. Arrhythmia events are detected with an unprecedented degree of accuracy using the multilead Arrhythmia Classification Expert (ACE) algorithm.

The Infinity CentralStation also supports the Infinity Symphony Suite, which expands clinician access to valuable patient information stored at the Infinity CentralStation by making it available virtually anywhere on the hospital intranet.
