Further to the launch of the new Dopplex DMX, the rechargeable digital hand held Doppler with colour display, improved audio performance and high sensitivity probes, Huntleigh announces the release of the Dopplex Ankle and Toe Pressure (ATP) kit.
The kit is a unique combination of the new DMX Doppler, probes and accessories providing the Vascular, Diabetic or Lymphatic specialist with a system to aid the assessment of arterial disease and neuropathy.
It is with diabetic patients suffering from calcified arteries in the lower limb, or patients with chronic swollen limbs (lymphoedema) where toe pressures are required, that the Dopplex ATP comes into its own. By simply swapping the Doppler probe with the PPG adaptor, the arterial Plethysmography (PPG) probe can be used to easily undertake the TBI measurement. This optical sensing system placed directly on the toe provides a far quicker and more accurate measurement than Doppler
The new high resolution colour display works both as a visual aid for optimum deflation rate and determination of systolic pressures. PPG waveforms and pressures can be stored on the internal memory or SD card and reviewed at any time.
