The ‘Sepsis Unplugged’ conference takes place at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham on 21-22 May 2015. Organised by The UK Sepsis Trust, this new conference will bring together all healthcare professions and patient groups as equals and will ask the questions which will help shape better care for patients with sepsis.
With an exciting programme on offer, Sepsis Unplugged promises to offer delegates interactive sessions, practical workshops and panel discussions to inform, educate and help shape better care. The programme features sessions on: The Role of Nurses in Fixing Sepsis, The Survival Lottery – A Patient’s Experience, How we fix Sepsis in Emergency Departments, Paediatric Sepsis, Critical Care, Clinical Human Factors in Practice, Survivor Support, Sepsis in the News and much more. This conference will be of interest to those working within acute medicine, critical care, emergency medicine and general medicine.
Thursday 21 May
The conference programme will be opened by Dr Ron Daniels, chief executive of The UK Sepsis Trust. During this opening session, Dr Ron Daniels will explain how this conference is different and how to get the most from the sessions by being aware of the initial steps required to effect change in your organisation.
