Following feedback from customers, PROACT MEDICAL has announced that its enhanced Metal Max 90 range of laryngoscope blades is now available, featuring significant improvements.
For example, the design now features a ‘no touch’ block, preventing the blade from touching the handle when not in operation – an essential feature when used with reusable handles to minimise the risk of cross infection. With a new low profile Macintosh design, the Metal Max 90 range now offers easier access and an improved view, while also decreasing the risk of dental injury. The Metal Max 90 Green System Blades include shielded optics for maximum light output. The features that distinguish the Metal Max 90 blades from the other disposable ranges will still be retained. These include the meLED light source (offering super bright focused light) and correctly formed blade tips, and the same atraumatic tip found on a reusable blade. In addition, the Metal Max 90 blades still feature metal running through the economical plastic block to ensure maximum strength and reliability.
