New Consumables Division

Getinge Lancer is pleased to announce the additional support of a Consumables Division. This is in response to market and legislative changes, which bring an ever increasing demand for advice and training surrounding the decontamination process.

Samantha Dodd has been appointed as Business Development Executive for the South of England. Helen James has been appointed as Business Development Executive for the North of England. Samantha and Helen bring with them a wealth of experience in consumable management and have worked extensively in the Endoscopy and CSSD areas, advising on decontamination and infection control issues. They will work closely with Julie Hoyles who already promotes the Groups Getinge Clean product range of detergents.  The Getinge Lancer Consumables Division will develop the already strong Lancer consumable range of detergents and disinfectants and will be able to offer an extended service supporting and educating its customers in every aspect of decontamination.

For over 100 years Getinge has consistently delivered high performance processing and sterility assurance products that always meet the most demanding industry standards and which can be trusted to give a reliable result. Getinge Lancer offer the world's most comprehensive range of solutions for disinfection, sterilization and infection control designed for reliable and cost-effective performance as a complete solution provider and one-stop shop; you can trust Getinge Lancer to provide the products you rely on to guarantee cleanliness. You provide the problem we provide the solution. “Deciding on a strategy for a new consumables sales division utilising proven sales professionals, coupled with a strong consumables portfolio has already shown dividends and I look forward to many years of sales growth in this area” said Gordon Ledingham Endoscopy Sales Manager for Getinge Lancer.

Getinge Lancer has recently launched its newly improved LANCERZYME ENZYMATIC DETERGENT.
The improved Lancerzyme is a maximum performing enzymatic detergent, used for manually cleaning flexible endoscopes and surgical instruments. Lancerzyme ensures a high level of cleaning, formulated to remove organic matter from medical devices. It contains a subtle hint of colour, has a neutral pH and a ‘green tea and mint’ fresh fragrance for a pleasant cleaning experience, without the use of unnecessary additives which can often lead to skin irritations. Our market research has shown many users prefer the fresh fragrance of Lancerzyme to their current enzymatic detergent.“The smell is lovely, really fresh and minty”, Staff Nurse, Manchester.

Getinge Lancer is pleased to offer an automated, foot operated, dispensing device to ensure accurate dosing every time. The pump has been designed to resolve many of the concerns that Infection Prevention and Control Nurses have highlighted with other automated devices in the past. The foot operated mechanism ensures that constant handling of the pump is eliminated to reduce the risk of cross contamination. Lancerzyme is used throughout the NHS and is available via the NHS Supply Chain to order. Please contact Samantha Dodd (South) 07527 384155 and Helen James (North) 07717 784808 to trial Lancerzyme in your department.

Lancerzyme offers the following features:
