Venous thrombosis prevention

Powered by OnPulse technology, the geko device, from PHARMARAMA, has been developed to trigger the built-in mechanisms of the human body to increase venous circulation for the prevention of venous thrombosis.

Small electrical impulses gently stimulate the common peroneal nerve located behind the knee and activate the calf muscle pumps of the lower leg that return blood towards the heart, emulating the process normally achieved by walking. The system takes just 60 seconds to fit and is operated by a single button. One size fits all and there are no messy leads or wires needed.
