Smart dispenser helps improve hand hygiene

The ingo-man Wi eco dispenser system, from OPHARDT Hygiene, has been developed to sustainably improve hand hygiene in hospitals. The system works with an integrated counter function for the measurement of hand-hygiene behaviour.

When operating the lever, the withdrawal of disinfectant is recorded. The data is then transmitted wirelessly to a central evaluation system. Via special software, the usage of disinfectant can be recorded, analysed and archived, to determine compliance in hand hygiene and to allow improvements to be implemented where necessary. The system features a real-time functionality check that automatically announces disruptions in functionality. The system can independently signal necessary bottle changes.
