ANTIMICROBIAL COPPER is the name that unites a global network of non-profit organisations which disseminate information about, and advising on the use of, antimicrobial copper touch surfaces – door furniture, grab rails, taps and ward equipment – to reduce contamination and the risk of infection in clinical environments.
Visitors to the stand will be able to see samples of wide-ranging products currently offered by companies in the UK and abroad. The variety of colours on display is made possible by the copper alloys that benefit from its antimicrobial properties, such as brass, bronze and coppernickels. Literature will also be available covering the latest laboratory science and clinical trial results from around the globe, and experts will be on hand to answer any questions related to the efficacy and deployment of antimicrobial copper.
