LTE SCIENTIFIC has announced that its Scope-Store range of endoscope storage/drying cabinets has been added to the NHS “Endoscope Decontamination Equipment” National Framework.
The complete Scope- Store range is listed under Partners For Endoscopy (PFE), who are LTE’s distributor in the UK. Scope-Store has been designed to offer a number of features designed to meet or exceed the requirements of HTM 01-06. The units operate via a colour touch-screen which provides clear information on each scope, such as scope ID, air time, air volume, storage time and user ID for load/unload. All information is printed at the end of each cycle. Scope and user IDs can either be picked from the on-screen menu or can be scanned in via an optional barcode reader. Scope-Stores are selfcontained and include two HEPA filtered air delivery systems. Air is constantly delivered through the cabinets to help maintain low RH levels. In addition, an efficient compressor delivers HEPA filtered air sequentially through each scope, ensuring that each scope receives an adequate and measured amount of air. Three variants of Scope-Store are available – 5 and 10-scope vertical hanging models and an 8-scope shelf model.
