The inaugural AfPP2010 Innovation Awards were designed to recognise and celebrate innovations and developments that genuinely contribute to a safer, more productive perioperative environment. An adjudication panel of independent industry leaders judged the entries and plaques were presented during a dedicated awards ceremony at the Congress delegates’ welcome evening.
AfPP head of events, Joanna Ripley, explained: “The Innovation Awards are just one of the many new initiatives we have introduced to add value to our Congress and exhibition. Congratulations are due to all the winners for their dedication to creating innovative products and services that put quality, efficiency and patient safety at the heart of their development.”
