Customised printed curtains

Encompassing the very latest innovations in disposable curtains, MARLUX recently unveiled its new Premiere Range customised printed curtains at IPS 2010. While all Marlux curtain systems are engineered to aid infection control, the company’s printing service offers the added advantage of enabling customers to promote their establishment, support a local charity or demonstrate commitment to the privacy and dignity of patients.

A series of customised messages, logos and images can be displayed on the full width of the cubicle curtain to market brands, mottos or infection control initiatives to patients – such as the importance of washing hands or cleaning policies.

The technical print process and rigorous quality control checks provide consistently clear and sharp images, while the method of ink application ensures full integration with the polypropylene curtain fabric – producing a flat clean dry surface which does not encourage the formation of protein or the growth of bacteria.

Marlux is able to offer bespoke printing to customers ordering a minimum of 22 boxes of disposable curtains. With curtain manufacture and the printed production service based in the UK, customers are able to receive the finished product within short time periods.

Marlux disposable curtains, available in an extensive range of colours, are manufactured using high quality, durable and recyclable non-woven bacteriostatic polypropylene material which does not support bacterial growth.

Marlux has previously worked closely with hospitals to ensure that change polices are managed properly and cost effective results are achieved. On request, curtain changes can be performed by Marlux installers, which includes the removal, environmental disposal and ethical re-cycling of existing curtains into other consumables.

Marlux also offers the Enviro bag (subject to conditions), a recycling service which addresses current NHS requirements concerning the reduction of carbon emissions.
