The 2010 Clinical Engineering Team of the Year Award is open for entry, sponsored by Welch Allyn.
“The Clinical Engineering Team of the Year award recognises the important work this group of professionals do every day but also provides a way of sharing ideas and innovation with colleagues from other hospitals,” Welch Allyn’s UK marketing manager, Jan McMeekin commented. To enter, teams need to provide details of a project, small or large, that has made a difference to the department or hospital and brought innovation to the use, management or implementation of medical devices. The winning team will receive £1,500 of Welch Allyn equipment as well as a £1,000 training fund. In addition, the winner will be presented with their award at the annual “Completing the Picture” meeting with dinner and accommodation provided the night before. This year, the runner up will also receive a donation of Welch Allyn equipment to the value of £1,000 and a £500 training fund. The entry deadline is 7 May 2010.
