The GETINGE ACADEMY has had a very successful two years since opening in March 2008. It provides excellent training for all personnel employed in the decontamination setting and for those working towards NVQ level 3.
From its superbly equipped building, it offers an ideal environment for course delegates to learn and network with other professionals in their industry. Courses are accredited by City & Guilds and developed in conjunction with the Institute of Decontamination Sciences. For 2010, the Academy has announced further course dates and IDSc study days delivered by industry leading professionals. Its portfolio includes “The Principles of Decontamination” (8 December 2009), “The Role of the Decontamination Lead” (12 January 2010), “Anatomy and Physiology” (14 January 2010) and “Basic Microbiology” (13 January 2010). These are just a few of the many courses running through to May 2010.
