User-friendly hands-free opening device

A new “hands-free opening” Sluicemaster Panaway has been launched by Haigh to meet the increasing need for user-friendly devices on the ward. With a hands-free opening sensor and auto start function, Haigh believes this product directly meets the needs of infection control nurses on the ward – providing the most efficient means of bedpan disposal.

Nick Dale, healthcare division manager, comments: “We are extremely excited about the future success of our hands-free opening Panaway. Efficient, easy to use and reliable, the success of the Panaway lies in its simplicity. Often products are over engineered, and we have to consider that while they may be exceptionally strong from an engineering and technical standpoint, none of this matters if the end user finds them difficult to work with. Our hands-free opening Panaway delivers the outstanding engineering credentials that the market expects, but is easy to use.”

Backed with a full three-year warranty, the hands-free opening Panaway joins the already successful Haigh range which includes the SOLO single bedpan disposer, the Classic+ and the Incomaster.
