DDC Dolphin’s recent patent application for its Pulpmatic Macerator has been published by the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO). To improve standards and reduce the potential for healthcare-associated infections, the company is constantly researching and developing innovative, cutting-edge technologies.

The latest in the range of macerators is the Pulpmatic  is the result of extensive research into the needs of NHS hospitals around sluice room equipment that is clean, effective, reliable, efficient, eco-friendly, and fully satisfies safety regulations and hygiene standards.

The Pulpmatic Macerator incorporates movement sensors to allow complete hands-free operation. The capacity of the macerator itself is almost twice that of conventional machines, while a specially designed blade assembly and a dry maceration cycle reduces the overall water and power consumption. A two-year warranty is provided as standard, with cost-effective extension options available beyond two years.
