Meet RAF medical reserves

The RAF MEDICAL RESERVES has two squadrons; 612 squadron specialises in surgical support, while 4626 squadron provides aeromedical evacuation.

At the present time, both squadrons have personnel serving alongside their regular RAF colleagues in Afghanistan. Working in aeromedical evacuation teams, field hospitals, CCAST (critical care aeromedical support teams) and MERT (medical emergency response teams), they provide a vital role in looking after our armed forces. Both squadrons hold regular presentation and information days, which help to demonstrate the role of each squadron. They also give you the opportunity to meet and chat to those already serving. If you are up for a challenge, enjoy trying something a bit different and have a keen spirit of adventure, then you could be just the sort of person the organisation is looking for.
