ABHI Brings First-Ever UK Pavilion to Africa Health Exhibition in Cape Town

The Association of British HealthTech Industries (ABHI), in partnership with the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), is proud to launch the first-ever UK Pavilion at Africa Health Exhibition, the continent’s largest healthcare event.

With over 6,000 healthcare professionals and 500 exhibitors from more than 40 countries expected to attend, Africa Health provides a premier platform for UK HealthTech innovators to introduce their cutting-edge technologies to an increasingly important market. The three-day event will showcase groundbreaking solutions that address critical healthcare challenges across the region.

The UK delegation will feature a diverse range of companies, from ambitious start-ups to established SMEs, all eager to demonstrate the world-class innovation that defines the UK’s health technology industry. The ABHI UK Pavilion will serve as a key hub for collaboration, networking and partnership-building, offering UK companies an unparalleled opportunity to strengthen their presence in Africa’s growing healthcare sector.

Michelle Michelucci, Head of International Events, ABHI, commented: “This marks a significant milestone for ABHI as our International team, in partnership with DBT, brings the UK Pavilion to Africa’s largest healthcare gathering. Africa Health has been growing year-on-year, and with an exciting new programme and a new host city, we are thrilled by the possibilities and look forward to supporting an impressive lineup of UK HealthTech innovators in showcasing their latest solutions.”

The ABHI delegation will include five leading UK companies, offering a wide range of pioneering technologies:

  •          OES Medical: A global leader in the design and manufacture of anaesthesia machines and ventilators, OES will showcase their Astra 3i Anaesthesia Workstation and Gemini-G100 ICU Ventilator, specially designed for settings with limited access to high-pressure oxygen supplies.
