Cherwell is pleased to announce the appointment of Andy Charteris as the new Director of Operations, succeeding Martyn Young who is retiring after a distinguished nine-year tenure.
Andy Charteris brings a wealth of experience from his career at GKN Aerospace, where he held various roles in manufacturing, operational and engineering capacities. In his most recent position, he was responsible for all aspects of strategic planning, labour and performance management to meet the required targets. His experience in lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement processes will be instrumental as Cherwell continues to enhance its operational capabilities to accelerate growth plans.
Andy’s appointment is a strategic move to further reinforce Cherwell’s position as a leading supplier of prepared microbiological media and other cleanroom microbiology solutions for the pharmaceutical and related industries. His experience and vision will be crucial as the company embarks on its next phase of development and growth as part of the AnalytiChem group.
