Making a difference: towards a safer tomorrow

Following the success of previous events, Knowlex is further looking at expanding
the horizons of infection prevention and control (IPC) at the Infection Prevention and Control Conference, scheduled for April 23 - 24, at The National Conference Centre in Birmingham.

This year's IPC conference offers two concurrent plenary sessions: one explores "A Unified Approach to Wound Care," covering the latest in wound care advancements, while the other, themed "Towards a Safer Tomorrow," aligns with the IPC Conference on infection prevention and control.

This article provides an overview of the conference agenda, highlighting key topics and speakers that promise valuable insights for attendees, along with the introduction of esteemed sponsors.

The conference starts with the Chair's introduction by Lindsay Keeley, Patient Safety & Quality Lead, AfPP. Professor Inada-Kim will then set the stage by discussing strategies to reduce healthcare-acquired infections and sharing insights on the current landscape of infection control practices.
