Portable sinks provide hygienic hand washing facilities

TEAL provides high quality, hot water hand washing sinks, for purchase or for hire, delivering units to site to help to control infection outbreaks.

The range of sinks are a cost-effective solution for use when needed or a flexible addition to existing support facilities. Independent of mains water supply, the sinks are highly portable and easy to set up, ideal for clinical and non-clinical areas.

As they are stand-alone, sinks can be placed exactly where needed, totally independent of any plumbing that exists in the building or room. They are supplied with their own water containers and separate waste containers that are housed inside the unit. This allows isolation rooms, that may have limited plumbing, to have their own sink away from other patients. The sinks can also be used to act as a barrier, placed strategically, to ensure all staff and other visitors wash their hands before crossing into an area that needs isolation or protection.

When purchased, they are easy to store and can then be activated, whenever needed by the hospital, making them an efficient tactical solution. Teal also offers a hire service so sinks can be brought in for a temporary period to help support infection outbreaks or to provide continuity of water supply when maintenance or refurbishment plans are carried out. The hire service offers a costeffective solution to work with existing budget restrictions.
