Irrigation fluid warmer

The Surgical Company’s Fluido Irrigation Fluid Warmer is exclusively available in the UK from CENTRAL MEDICAL SUPPLIES (CMS).

Warming irrigation fluids can reduce the risk of hypothermia, as inadequately warmed fluids can exacerbate a drop in the patient’s temperature.

Designed to deliver large volumes of normothermic irrigation fluids at optimum flow rates, Fluido Irrigation is suitable for all irrigation applications, from Urology to Gynaecology and Orthopaedics. A key feature of the Fluido Irrigation Fluid Warmer is that irrigation pump sets can be connected to it, enabling it to be used for more applications. Easy to set up, the solution doesn’t require any changes in surgical technique. The temperature can be adjusted from 30°C to 39°C, depending on surgical needs. The set fluid temperature administered to the patient is guaranteed, even when high volume irrigation fluids need to be given

The device uses infrared technology to warm fluids, which is a dry and reliable method that prevents risks of waterborne contamination. Using in line sensors, the Fluido Irrigation fluid warmer calculates the required energy to safely warm the perfusates. Algorithms compensate for the heat loss in the patient line, to ensure accurate heat adjustment

Fluido Irrigation can be attached to a Fluido IV-pole or the Fluido Powerlifter II. The battery powered Fluido Powerlifter II extends to a height of 275cm and can take a load of up to 30kg, dispensing with the need to lift heavy fluid bags.
