Hupfer's instrument baskets: proven quality made in Germany

Founded in 1870 in Zeitz, Saxony-Anhalt, Hupfer is now one of the leading specialists for sterile supplies logistics.

Over 550 employees in our headquarters in Germany and in subsidiaries all over the world breathe life into the balancing act between tradition and innovation.

Experience ensures quality:

Our quality management system is certified as compliant with DIN ISO 13485. This means that we fulfil the highest expectations, especially when it comes to the manufacture of medical products. We are also certified by the FDA as a contract manufacturer. We offer our customers validated production processes that have been tested for safety.

Advantages at a glance:

  • Made in Germany
  • Cutting-edge, automatic production line
  • Traceability right back to the origin
  • Consistent, certified quality

Manufactured locally – in demand worldwide

Our instrument baskets are used on a daily basis in clinics and hospitals all over the world. Our solutions are manufactured exclusively in North-Rhine Westphalia, and are sold worldwide by strong partners at our subsidiaries abroad.

Precision is our thing

Our cutting-edge production line and the know-how of our experts ensure that we can also manufacture customised instrument baskets with individual fixing elements for complex instruments.

In doing so, our work is exact to the last millimetre – no instrument basket leaves our factory without undergoing a thorough examination first. This allows us to produce quality that you can rely on.

Safety – signed and sealed

The successful certification of our quality management system according to ISO 13485 proves that our solutions stand up to the highest demands of quality. In accordance with the European Regulation on medical devices, every one of our instrument baskets is endorsed with a CE seal and an individual UDI code for full traceability.

Industry expert for more than a hundred years

Manufacturing products with practical benefits just isn't possible without practical experience. We maintain constant communication with our customers – because innovation can only emerge through dialogue.
