Innovation for women’s health

WELCH ALLYN has launched the new KleenSpec disposable vaginal specula and wireless illumination system. This new device features an advanced LED light that provides enhanced visualisation of the examination area by supplying a brighter, whiter light that will transform the way examiners see their patients. The specula is single-use to reduce the spread of infection and cross contamination and eliminate the time and expense of reprocessing.

It is made of smooth, moulded acrylic that will not pinch or bind tissue and has a wide handle to improve ergonomics, balance and manipulation during examinations. There are no wires to get in the way or break during procedures and the rechargeable, wireless LED light fits directly into the specula and features an automatic on/off switch to conserve time and energy.
