Central Sterilising Club Annual Scientific Meeting Postponed Due To Coronavirus Outbreak

The Central Sterilising Club (CSC) has announced the postponement of their Annual Scientific Meeting, which was due to take place at the end of March in Stratford-Upon-Avon.

In a statement they have said that the event will now be moved to 8th - 9th October, but will remain at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Stratford-Upon-Avon.

The official statement reads as follows:

While the risk of contracting Coronavirus is still low, the number of cases continues to increase across the country. The CSC has to consider the potential for an expected change in national policy to restrict travel for routine activity as issued by the UK Government. Part of our consideration has been to account for such a last minute cancellation and the impact on our forthcoming Annual Scientific Meeting. With this risk in mind, the committee has regrettably taken the decision to postpone and reschedule the event, with a deferment to October 8th and 9th 2020 (at same venue, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Stratford Upon Avon). Bookings will temporarily remain closed whilst we make the administrative changes. Bookings for October will reopen shortly.
