Infection prevention specialist, GAMA Healthcare, has appointed industry leader and GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) veteran, Dr Teresa Layer, as science and innovation director.
Dr Layer will bring 22 years of corporate healthcare experience to the role, during which time she helped lead the successful development of the Sensodyne toothpaste brand from a small acquisition to a £1.2 billion household name. Most recently, Dr Layer held the position of vice-president of oral health category research and development.
The top-tier appointment of Dr Layer will help build on the success of GAMA Healthcare’s infection prevention products in the UK and further afield.
