Infection prevention ‘robot’

In the modern healthcare environment, antimicrobial resistance is becoming an ever increasing concern.

The best way to deal with resistant bacteria is to stop the patient from becoming infected in the first place. UVD Robotsbelieves that, with the correct infection prevention processes in place, the company can help prevent HAIs.

Unlike current, labour intensive, manual UV-C devices, the UVD Robot is able to reposition itself autonomously during disinfection. As the robot moves between disinfection positions, it continues UV- C irradiation at close proximity, avoiding shadow on all surfaces it passes.
