This year, the Infection Prevention Society Annual Conference celebrates 60 years of infection control nursing. The Clinical Services Journal explores what’s taking place at the ACC, Liverpool from 22 – 24 September 2019.
At the IPS Conference leading experts in their field will present on the latest, current, and emerging threats and state-of-the-art research, in a bid to help improve teams, practices and patients’/clients’ outcomes.
There will be a comprehensive series of presentations, meet-the-expert sessions and specialist streams. As well as main conference sessions, one day of conferences will be dedicated to the following:
DIPC Day 2019 is designed to support leaders in infection prevention & control by providing expert workshops and presentations on behaviour, challenges and quality improvement. At a time when the difficulties facing IPC leaders are legion, new and re-emerging threats continue to develop, IPC leaders themselves require opportunities for advancement. This day is designed for IPC aspiring and experienced leaders to help them approach the challenges ahead - not as another crisis to manage, but as opportunities in a sea of difficulties.
