Rugged handheld scanner

Working as a key partner with Motorola, Newgate have recently developed a programme for the MC70 which will allow operators to move freely around the department as they quickly and accurately record the full CSSD process for each item.

Information from the handheld unit is automatically transmitted to Mobius Tracking where managers can make full use of the stock control, administration, costing and reports modules. There is the further benefit through the Universal Tracking module to view where an item is at any given time whether it is within the department or at a customer.

Taking it one step further, the Sentinel web-based programme matches trays to patients at various locations.
