UVD Robots are set to make new ground by travelling back to the UK to complete an almost impossible task for disinfection this week.
The (LSDS) large space disinfection system will be showcased at a leading, proactive and innovative UK hospital to complete what may be an impossible task in the field of disinfection by disinfecting a 1500-2000 sq. metre outpatient department in only 2 hours.
Simon Ellison (Vice Preseident Sales & Marketing) from UVD Robots says 'Disinfecting such a spacious environment with manual UVC or HPV would be extremely time consuming, unrealistic or simply impossible but a roll in the park for UVD robots'.
The UVD Robot is used as part of the regular cleaning cycle, and aims at preventing and reducing the spread of infectious diseases, vira, bacteria, and other types of harmful organic microorganisms in the environment by breaking down their DNA-structure. The robot is safe, reliable and eliminates human error. Furthermore, it is user friendly and is designed to be operated by every-day cleaning staff.
