Arab Health2019– the largest medical trade fair in the Middle East–saw the launch of an array of cutting-edge technologies from the UK,including the world’s only closed system for digital point-of-care urine testing.

Based in Cornwall, Clinical Design researches, develops and produces medical devices to address global healthcare issues. Working intensively alongside clinicians, the company seeks to improve care, efficacy and performance through technological innovation and intelligent design. Oliver Blackwell, an Industrial designer, shared some insight into the human-centred design approach he uses.
