Electropolishing enhances theatre furniture range

Many items from ANETIC AID’s high quality stainless steel furniture range are now being manufactured using special techniques to aid cleaning and hygiene in theatre.

Certain stainless steel products – bowl stands, kickabouts, Mayo tables and surgeon’s platforms – have always been mechanically polished. However, electropolishing now produces an even smoother surface for these items, which means it is less likely that dirt or bacteria will adhere to the surface of the steel.

Examples from the furniture portfolio, including the new theatre accessory stand and an expanded range of instrument trolleys will be on show, alongside the company’s flagship QA3 patient trolley and manual and powered versions of the QA4 day surgery trolley.
