Innovations for the digestive diseases patient pathway

Extending its history with the NHS bowel screening programmes, ALPHA LABORATORIES is closely involved with transition to the more sensitive and specific faecal immunochemical testing (FIT) method for screening.

In addition, it is actively working with NICE to incorporate FIT into the pathway for patients with suspected lower GI cancer. A number of hospitals in the UK are already using the HM-JACKarc FIT system, as an effective method of reducing colonoscopy referrals. The BÜHLMANN Quantum Blue rapid Anti-TNFdrug monitoring assays can also enable tailored therapy.
