op decision makers from around the world recently came together to view the latest in medical innovation at the world’s largest medical trade fair, Medica, held in Düsseldorf, Germany. High on the agenda was the trend in digitalisation, advances in artificial medicine, and wearable technology.
A total of 123,500 visitors, from 130 different countries, attended this year’s Medica and Compamed event, which provided a showcase for some of the most exciting advances in medicine – from robotics and artificial intelligence, to wearable sensors and mico-technology. The programme also featured conference sessions with international relevance – including the latest insights into infection prevention, from the implications of worldwide migration, to interdisciplinary cooperative work to fight against antibiotic resistance.
